The wooden chair, inspired by the classical seats of the ‘800 featuring woven cane, recalls the Italian craftsmanship of woodworking with a contemporary twist. The linear and conical legs meet the smoothness of the backrest and the seat in woven cane, plywood or padding, which allows one to customise the chair as he pleases for further flexibility of colours and finishes. Caorlina was born as a popular, multifunctional and efficient boat. Agile, spacious, symmetrical: a structure preserved overtime. It is precisely this symmetry that determines the concept presented in this chair which becomes a tribute to the boat that connects the islands to the mainland.
